Yves Saint Laurent Fusion Ink Blush

Image
byRita Hello beauties, A few months ago, I had a thing for liquid blushes. Let me tell you, there’s not much to choose, at least here in Portugal. One day I went to the mall to buy a carpet to my room and came back with a liquid blush! As the title says, I bought YSL Fusion Ink Blush. This is a limited edition from Spring look 2016. Don’t get me wrong, I love and have less expensive brands, but I was feeling generous in that day and the product was at sales! The back package says ‘The 1st YSL ink blush: a burst of fresh color that lasts until evening. Infuses like an ink: the featherlight color spreads seamlessly for vibrant, pink cheeks. Ultra-light, fresh and sensorial texture. A pleasant application with a unique boost of freshness’. This blush is available in four colors: 1- Electric Red, 2- Pink Attraction, 3- Spicy Vibes, 4- Edge Berry. I tried all four in store. The Electric red for my pale skin was too red, the number 3, Spicy vibes, was very orange and the Edge Berry was too pink f…

Estée Lauder Stress Relief Eye Mask

@Joana
Hello Beauties!

This week, for our #MondayMask, we bring you the Estée Lauder Stress Relief Eye Mask.

The first thing I have to tell you is that I love Estée Lauder as a brand, I think that their products are amazing and with really good quality, and I have more makeup/skincare from them, like the Perfectionist foundation (if you want a review on this foundation, you can ask in the comments below).I also have to tell you that I have really dry skin under my eyes and also dark circles that are genetic, even if I sleep 3 or 10 hours. Because of this problem, I’m always looking for some good eye care that could give me hydration and some help smoothing the area.Oh and you can also join the fact that I travel a lot, the air condition, that nowadays exists almost everywhere (including in the eight hours of work). Add to it some stress and some not so good nutrition and the result is disastrous for the skin.Because of all this, I went a couple months …

Sephora Smoothing & Brightening powder

Hello beauties,
Today we are going to talk about mattifying powders. As I already said, my skin is a mix of combo and oily, so when the weather is warmer, my T-zone always needs a little bit of mattifying powder. I have a few powders in my collection but I was feeling that none of them was doing his job (I have high standards). So, I took my phone and googled ‘best mattifying powders’ (yes, I google it)! The results were a little bit disappointing. Some of them I knew that weren’t available in my country and the others were a little bit expensive. Laura Mercier setting powder was a perfect example, it has so many good reviews online but it is expensive and it doesn’t exist in Portugal.

After seeing all these posts about powders and knowing that Too faced is a brand that exists at Sephora, I decided to buy Born this Way loose setting powder. It costs $32 and according to the website it’s good for mattifying the skin and we could use it to bake under the eyes (Great, I thought). I w…

Burberry Face Contour Pen

byJoana
Hello beauties,
When I started this post I didn´t know what to write, because I have a hate/love relationship with this product. I´m going to explain why. When I bought this product, the saleswoman said wonderful things about it and I wanted to try for a while a makeup product from Burberry. So I bought it!

I´m used to powder contours, so for a better application I went to Youtube to see the way Burberry (the official channel) said it´s the best way to apply the pen. And beauties, that was my mistake!

They say to apply this product making vertical lines on your face and then use the fingers or a brush to blend.
You can see it here:
I tried using this technique but that didn´t went well because I was not seeing a difference in my complexion.
Another con it’s the range of colors. They just have two, the medium to light/medium complexions and the dark one. Because it’s summer and I have a tan on, the medium one is a little bit light to my skin ton, but in the winter, is pretty good.
I l…

@rita Hello Beauties,

This week we bring you the Egg Cream Mask Pore Tightening by Too Cool for School. As you know, I have combo skin and some open pores, so I’m always looking for a good pore tightening mask!

This time I went to Sephora and as always, I was drawn to the Korean section. After some time reading the back packaging, I decided to buy this mask. To tell you the truth I don’t know and never heard about this brand, but for what I saw, they have some cool stuff (no pun intended)! According to the Sephora’s website this brand is ‘’Dedicated to quality and creativity, the Korean brand brings together the latest skin care and makeup trends with a diverse community of experimental artists. The result? Innovative products, playful packaging, and a unique beauty experience’’.
